Following the supercell storm that took place in Newcastle during the summer of 2012 the city along with the Heaton site experienced damage beyond anything that had been seen in a lifetime.

Our training ensured that although our Board were off site in their regular meeting, the team managed to contain the situation and even though it was impossible to get the production facility open for close to a week, we managed things so well that we safeguarded Siemens' assets and didn't lose a single day from our customers delivery schedule.
